What is Open-Loop Supply Chain?
In an open-loop supply chain, used products are recovered by other firms and reused instead of being returned to the original producers. This stands in contrast to a closed-loop supply chain, where such materials are returned to the original manufacturer, who will redistribute them to recover value.
